I WAS ON THE BASE FOOTBALL TEAM FOR 1 YEAR -
MY PICTURE WAS IN THE FUJI FLYER FOR WINNING A JAPAN CHESS TOURNAMENT - I WORKED SWING SHIFT AND COVERED AREA II MY FIRST YEAR - I WAS TRANSFERRED TO 36 ARRS FOR 1 YEAR - SERVICED C-130 N & H MODEL AIRCRAFT - WORKED WITH NASA ENGINEERS FOR BORE SIGHTING AND REPAIRING OF THE ARD-17 TRACKING EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE AIRBORNE BACK UP TRACKING FOR THE RETURN OF SPACE CRAFT FROM MOON SHOTS - THEN ALL PERSONNEL OF THE 36 ARRS WERE TRANSFERRED BACK TO 610 MASS SO I STARTED AND ENDED MY TOUR IN JAPAN IN THE 610 MASS - SERVICED C-141 AND C-5A AIRCRAFT - IN 1971 I TOOK AN EARLY OUT AND RE-ENLISTED TO RECEIVE A VRB AND CONVERTED TO COMMAND SPONSORED TOUR - I WAS MARRIED AT THE TIME AND LIVE IN A LOT HOUSE OVER AT TACHIKAWA - I WAS E-3 WHEN I GOT TO JAPAN AND E-5 WHEN I LEFT - chris@clansco.com

George was a great piolet.  He took me flying with him all over Japan.  My wife and I spent a lot o time with him and his wife Janett the whole time I was stationed in Japan.  I got together with george a few times here in the states after we both got out of the service.  Geroge and his brother were both good guys.
