As an engine man we worked on a lot of discrepancies with electric shop, it was always good to see Bill come to A/C as he was easy going and a person I enjoyed working with.
Bill and I worked together in the electric shop for well over a year. I was a young airman; he probably the best mentor you could have. Super nice guy and one hell of a friend. He was married and I young and wild. We didn't hang out together outside of work, but I will never forget how laid back and just plain relaxed he was. I can still hear his voice calling me by the name most people only knew as mine "Willie". It seems like yesterday that we sit around the shop talking about life; 38 years ago. The world lost a good guy. Larry
I am deeply sorry to see Bill's name listed here. Bill was my supervsor when I worked in the Electric Shop at Yokota as a young Staff Sergeant. We spent many days and nights on the flightline working. He taught me all I knew about C-5s and C-141s.
We went on a TDY to Okinawa that was both fun as well as challenging.
