Comments:
I was assigned to OL-C 610 MASS at Misawa from early 1974 to June 1975.
After leaving Misawa, I was assigned to 438APS, McGuire AFB, NJ from 1975-1978.
I was assigned to Yokota from 1978-1981 after the 610 MASS had been changed to 316APS. (It was still 610MASS when I arrived in June 1978)
I worked in Air Freight / Ramp Services during this assignment.
After leaving Yokota I was assigned to 62APS at McChord AFB, WA from 1981-1984.
In 1984 I was cross-trained into Aircraft Maintenance and spent 1984-1991 at Fairchild AFB, WA. Working on KC-135s and B-52s.
In 1991 I was reassigned back as a 605XX and spent 1991-1993 at Howard AFB, Panama.
In 1993 I came home and retired from the military.
I now reside in Soap Lake, WA. In the middle of the desert.
I now devote most of my time to helping veterans. I am a very active member of the American Legion. I am currently serving as 1 0f 4 Department Vice Commanders for the Department of Washington. I have also been a Service Officer for many years. In this position I have the opportunity to assist Veterans with VA related issues, helping to insure that they receive what is due them.
